Every day Michelle Philpots who wake up next to people who think he is not her husband, when the person is actually her own husband, Michelle and Ian were married in 1997. He experienced short-term amnesia in 1994 and since then he forgot everything that happened to him on the day-next day.. Every morning Ian had to convince his wife that they were already married, Ian also use their wedding photos to prove that they are husband and wife.
Amnesia suffered by 47-year-old woman was caused by her accident that she suffered brain injuries and result in short-term amnesia. he could only remember all the events until 1994 but after that he could not remember anything
Mechelle also use a small notebook and a calendar to remember what he did on previous days.

"I've known him for 25 years so I was lucky we met before her accident because she could remember me. Fortunately we have many photos to remind you, otherwise she will forget everything."
Dr Peter Nestor, a nerve specialist at Cambridge University, said that Michelle suffered from anterograde amnesia.
He added: "It is pretty rare but it could happen. You are able to perform daily activities and do not forget how to do certain things such as talking.
"But if someone asks you what you did yesterday, you would not know."
